# HRa Mobile vs Con Edison

The clearest difference is rating: Con Edison at 4.8 against HRa Mobile's 2.0. Con Edison also leads on ratings volume (125K vs 1). HRa Mobile's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Con Edison holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Con Edison has 125K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of HRa Mobile's written reviews are positive against 48% of Con Edison's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
