# TPC vs VPN

The clearest difference is rating: TPC at 5.0 against VPN's 3.4. TPC also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and device support (4 vs 1). VPN's advantage is ratings volume (191 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. TPC asks for nothing beyond the download.

TPC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 191 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
