# Page Calendar vs Whenever

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Page Calendar at none against Whenever's 1. Page Calendar also leads on ratings volume (153 vs 23). Whenever's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whenever sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Page Calendar asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Page Calendar against 4.8 for Whenever. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Page Calendar has 153 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of Page Calendar's written reviews are positive against 91% of Whenever's.

Page Calendar ships an update every 3 months, Whenever fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
