# RespiRelax+ vs Hygiene Helper

The clearest difference is rating: Hygiene Helper at 5.0 against RespiRelax+'s 4.1. Hygiene Helper also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). RespiRelax+'s advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hygiene Helper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RespiRelax+ has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of RespiRelax+'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Hygiene Helper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RespiRelax+ ships an update every 3 weeks, Hygiene Helper every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
