# PSG Official vs Area VIP

The clearest difference is ratings volume: PSG Official at 1.1K against Area VIP's 1. PSG Official also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Area VIP's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Area VIP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PSG Official has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PSG Official ships an update every 2 weeks, Area VIP every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
