# Perspective vs Wispr Flow

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wispr Flow at 19K against Perspective's 5. Wispr Flow also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and chart position (#40 vs unranked). Perspective's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perspective sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Wispr Flow sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Perspective holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wispr Flow has 19K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Perspective's written reviews are positive against 83% of Wispr Flow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Perspective ships an update every 5 weeks, Wispr Flow weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
