# USTA.TV vs IONSport

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: USTA.TV at none against IONSport's 3. USTA.TV also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). IONSport's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (903 vs 1). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IONSport sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. USTA.TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

USTA.TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IONSport has 903 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of USTA.TV's written reviews are positive against 82% of IONSport's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

USTA.TV ships an update every 7 months, IONSport every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
