# Accupass vs OPENTIX

The clearest difference is rating: Accupass at 4.8 against OPENTIX's 4.0. Accupass also leads on ratings volume (450 vs 4). OPENTIX's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (33% vs 17%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Accupass holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Accupass has 450 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Accupass's written reviews are positive against 33% of OPENTIX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Accupass ships an update monthly, OPENTIX fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
