# ServusTV On vs DerElefant

The clearest difference is update cadence: ServusTV On at fortnightly against DerElefant's every 3 months. ServusTV On also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (105 vs 13). DerElefant's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ServusTV On holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ServusTV On has 105 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 92% and 93% positive.

ServusTV On ships an update fortnightly, DerElefant every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
