# ServusTV On vs ARD Mediathek

ServusTV On and ARD Mediathek both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 92% of ServusTV On's written reviews are positive against 42% of ARD Mediathek's. ARD Mediathek's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 106) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for ServusTV On against 4.8 for ARD Mediathek. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ARD Mediathek has 2K ratings behind it against 106, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of ServusTV On's written reviews are positive against 42% of ARD Mediathek's.

ServusTV On ships an update fortnightly, ARD Mediathek every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
