# Premium Clock vs Ster

The clearest difference is price: Ster at Free against Premium Clock's $1.99. Ster also leads on update cadence (every 7 months vs every 29 months) and ratings volume (42 vs 3). Premium Clock's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.7). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Ster is free to download; Premium Clock costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Premium Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ster has 42 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Premium Clock's written reviews are positive against 5% of Ster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Premium Clock ships an update every 29 months, Ster every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
