# Bass Constructor vs Dashing Mariachis

The clearest difference is ads: Bass Constructor at none against Dashing Mariachis's shown. Bass Constructor also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 65%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Dashing Mariachis's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.7) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bass Constructor sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Dashing Mariachis sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dashing Mariachis holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dashing Mariachis has 39 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Bass Constructor's written reviews are positive against 65% of Dashing Mariachis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bass Constructor ships an update every 3 months, Dashing Mariachis monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
