# Lamsa vs SplashLearn

The clearest difference is rating: SplashLearn at 4.5 against Lamsa's 3.9. SplashLearn also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 54%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lamsa sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and SplashLearn sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SplashLearn holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SplashLearn has 32K ratings behind it against 5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Lamsa's written reviews are positive against 74% of SplashLearn's.

Lamsa ships an update monthly, SplashLearn every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
