# Word Chums! vs Lexulous Cheat & Solver

The clearest difference is rating: Word Chums! at 4.8 against Lexulous Cheat & Solver's 3.0. Word Chums! also leads on ratings volume (24K vs 1) and chart position (#62 vs unranked). Lexulous Cheat & Solver's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Word Chums! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Lexulous Cheat & Solver sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Word Chums! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Word Chums! has 24K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Word Chums!'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Lexulous Cheat & Solver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Word Chums! ships an update every 4 months, Lexulous Cheat & Solver fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
