# Dashlane Password Manager vs PassGuard

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dashlane Password Manager at weekly against PassGuard's every 2 months. Dashlane Password Manager also leads on ratings volume (108K vs 2) and chart position (#38 vs unranked). PassGuard's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Both are free to download. Dashlane Password Manager sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and PassGuard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.19 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
