# KanaDrills vs Study Shield

The clearest difference is rating: Study Shield at 5.0 against KanaDrills's 4.0. KanaDrills's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and ratings volume (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KanaDrills sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Study Shield sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study Shield holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively.
