# K104.7 vs 106.9 KHITS

The clearest difference is rating: 106.9 KHITS at 4.8 against K104.7's 4.4. 106.9 KHITS also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (38 vs 7). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

106.9 KHITS holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 106.9 KHITS has 38 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of K104.7's written reviews are positive against 67% of 106.9 KHITS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

K104.7 ships an update every 13 months, 106.9 KHITS every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
