# Sydsvenskan vs e

The clearest difference is rating: Sydsvenskan at 5.0 against e's 4.5. Sydsvenskan also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). e's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (50 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sydsvenskan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: e has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sydsvenskan ships an update every 10 days, e every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
