# SimpleMoon vs Moon Phase

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SimpleMoon at 302 against Moon Phase's 1. SimpleMoon also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimpleMoon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Moon Phase sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SimpleMoon against 5.0 for Moon Phase. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SimpleMoon has 302 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
