# REEV vs Atelier Melodee

The clearest difference is rating: Atelier Melodee at 4.8 against REEV's 2.9. Atelier Melodee also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). REEV's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 5) and iOS requirement (18.2 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. REEV sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Atelier Melodee asks for nothing beyond the download.

Atelier Melodee holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: REEV has 33 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of REEV's written reviews are positive against 50% of Atelier Melodee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
