# REEV vs Reverse Audio

The clearest difference is rating: Reverse Audio at 4.5 against REEV's 2.9. Reverse Audio also leads on ratings volume (32K vs 33) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). REEV's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (58% vs 34%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. REEV sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Reverse Audio sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reverse Audio holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reverse Audio has 32K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of REEV's written reviews are positive against 34% of Reverse Audio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

REEV ships an update every 3 weeks, Reverse Audio weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
