# TextPic vs Cheatsheet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TextPic at none against Cheatsheet's 9. TextPic also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 81%) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 17.4). Cheatsheet's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 380). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cheatsheet sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. TextPic asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for TextPic against 4.7 for Cheatsheet. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cheatsheet has 1.9K ratings behind it against 380, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of TextPic's written reviews are positive against 81% of Cheatsheet's.

TextPic ships an update every 6 weeks, Cheatsheet every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
