# Collective2 vs Tradier

The clearest difference is rating: Tradier at 4.5 against Collective2's 1.9. Tradier also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 49 months) and ratings volume (645 vs 12). Collective2's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and review sentiment (25% vs 15%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tradier holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tradier has 645 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Collective2's written reviews are positive against 15% of Tradier's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Collective2 ships an update every 49 months, Tradier every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
