# SettleAssist vs GiddyUp Roofing

The clearest difference is monetization model: SettleAssist at free against GiddyUp Roofing's subscription. SettleAssist also leads on rating (3.8 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (275 vs 24). GiddyUp Roofing's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (50% vs 37%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SettleAssist holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SettleAssist has 275 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of SettleAssist's written reviews are positive against 50% of GiddyUp Roofing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SettleAssist ships an update every 6 weeks, GiddyUp Roofing weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
