# Inkflow Visual Notebook vs Novaplan

The clearest difference is monetization model: Inkflow Visual Notebook at free with in-app purchases against Novaplan's subscription. Inkflow Visual Notebook also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). Novaplan's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkflow Visual Notebook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Novaplan sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inkflow Visual Notebook ships an update every 5 months, Novaplan every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
