# Selfie vs ApexDrop

The clearest difference is rating: Selfie at 5.0 against ApexDrop's 4.4. Selfie also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months). ApexDrop's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 58) and ratings volume (242 vs 40). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Selfie sells 58 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. ApexDrop asks for nothing beyond the download.

Selfie holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ApexDrop has 242 ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 93% of Selfie's written reviews are positive against 86% of ApexDrop's.

Selfie ships an update every 2 weeks, ApexDrop every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
