# Selfie vs Unveilr

The clearest difference is update cadence: Unveilr at every 3 days against Selfie's every 2 weeks. Unveilr also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.2). Selfie's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Selfie sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per month and Unveilr sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Selfie against 5.0 for Unveilr. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Selfie has 40 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Selfie's written reviews are positive against 100% of Unveilr's.

Selfie ships an update every 2 weeks, Unveilr every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
