# Dish Align vs Satellite Finder (Pro)

The clearest difference is ads: Satellite Finder (Pro) at none against Dish Align's shown. Satellite Finder (Pro) also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). Dish Align's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 63%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dish Align sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Satellite Finder (Pro) sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Satellite Finder (Pro) holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Satellite Finder (Pro) has 5.3K ratings behind it against 454, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Dish Align's written reviews are positive against 63% of Satellite Finder (Pro)'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dish Align ships an update every 9 months, Satellite Finder (Pro) every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
