# Dish Align vs Cellular Tower

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dish Align at 83% against Cellular Tower's 20%. Dish Align also leads on iOS requirement (11.4 vs 15.0). Cellular Tower's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dish Align sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Cellular Tower sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cellular Tower holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cellular Tower has 5.3K ratings behind it against 455, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Dish Align's written reviews are positive against 20% of Cellular Tower's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dish Align ships an update every 9 months, Cellular Tower fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
