# ERCOT vs Reel Rewards

The clearest difference is rating: ERCOT at 2.8 against Reel Rewards's 2.4. ERCOT also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (39% vs 18%). Reel Rewards's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ERCOT holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ERCOT has 115 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of ERCOT's written reviews are positive against 18% of Reel Rewards's.

ERCOT ships an update every 4 months, Reel Rewards every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
