# ERCOT vs Ready Set Eat

The clearest difference is rating: Ready Set Eat at 5.0 against ERCOT's 2.8. ERCOT's advantage is ratings volume (115 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ready Set Eat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ERCOT has 115 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ERCOT ships an update every 4 months, Ready Set Eat every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
