# SpraySelect vs FieldScout Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FieldScout Mobile at 100% against SpraySelect's 19%. FieldScout Mobile also leads on iOS requirement (12.2 vs 16.0). SpraySelect's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SpraySelect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of SpraySelect's written reviews are positive against 100% of FieldScout Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SpraySelect ships an update every 4 months, FieldScout Mobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
