# Compass° vs ERIS Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Compass° at 4.8 against ERIS Mobile's 4.3. Compass° also leads on ratings volume (59K vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). ERIS Mobile's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 18 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Compass° holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Compass° has 59K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Compass°'s written reviews are positive against 100% of ERIS Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Compass° ships an update every 18 months, ERIS Mobile every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
