# Compass° vs Nectar

The clearest difference is rating: Compass° at 4.8 against Nectar's 2.8. Compass° also leads on ratings volume (59K vs 6). Nectar's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 18 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Compass° holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Compass° has 59K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
