# Intervals vs GRIT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GRIT at none against Intervals's 4. GRIT also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Intervals sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. GRIT asks for nothing beyond the download.

Intervals ships an update every 3 months, GRIT every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
