# du vs Excellence Driving

The clearest difference is rating: du at 4.5 against Excellence Driving's 3.7. du also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 6). Excellence Driving's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

du holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: du has 15K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
