# הארץ vs 04 חדשות

The clearest difference is rating: הארץ at 4.2 against 04 חדשות's 3.6. הארץ also leads on ratings volume (606 vs 7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). 04 חדשות's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and review sentiment (50% vs 41%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. הארץ sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.49 per month. 04 חדשות asks for nothing beyond the download.

הארץ holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: הארץ has 606 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of הארץ's written reviews are positive against 50% of 04 חדשות's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

הארץ ships an update every 3 weeks, 04 חדשות every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
