# 93.3 WMMR vs Rock 92.3

The clearest difference is rating: 93.3 WMMR at 4.7 against Rock 92.3's 2.0. 93.3 WMMR also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 26) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Rock 92.3's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

93.3 WMMR holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 93.3 WMMR has 3.9K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of 93.3 WMMR's written reviews are positive against 55% of Rock 92.3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

93.3 WMMR ships an update every 4 months, Rock 92.3 every 6 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
