# Checklist vs Checklist Widget

The clearest difference is ads: Checklist Widget at none against Checklist's shown. Checklist Widget also leads on review sentiment (94% vs 68%) and device support (3 vs 1). Checklist's advantage is ratings volume (2.9K vs 339). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Checklist Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Checklist against 4.7 for Checklist Widget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist has 2.9K ratings behind it against 339, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Checklist's written reviews are positive against 94% of Checklist Widget's.

Checklist ships an update every 9 days, Checklist Widget every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
