# Checklist vs PrepChecklist

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Checklist at 2.9K against PrepChecklist's 7. Checklist also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (68% vs 50%). PrepChecklist's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PrepChecklist sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Checklist holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist has 2.9K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Checklist's written reviews are positive against 50% of PrepChecklist's.

Checklist ships an update every 11 days, PrepChecklist fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
