# Checklist vs SimpList

The clearest difference is ads: SimpList at none against Checklist's shown. SimpList also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Checklist's advantage is ratings volume (2.9K vs 9) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SimpList sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SimpList holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist has 2.9K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Checklist's written reviews are positive against 75% of SimpList's.

Checklist ships an update every 9 days, SimpList monthly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
