# GRE Prep & Practice by Magoosh vs Ps CS5 Interactive Tutorials

The clearest difference is rating: GRE Prep & Practice by Magoosh at 4.8 against Ps CS5 Interactive Tutorials's 3.7. GRE Prep & Practice by Magoosh also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Ps CS5 Interactive Tutorials's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GRE Prep & Practice by Magoosh sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ps CS5 Interactive Tutorials sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GRE Prep & Practice by Magoosh holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GRE Prep & Practice by Magoosh has 11K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of GRE Prep & Practice by Magoosh's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ps CS5 Interactive Tutorials's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GRE Prep & Practice by Magoosh ships an update every 2 months, Ps CS5 Interactive Tutorials every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
