# Chess without ads vs Ayo Game

The clearest difference is rating: Chess without ads at 4.7 against Ayo Game's 4.0. Chess without ads also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). Ayo Game's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Chess without ads holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chess without ads has 39K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Chess without ads's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ayo Game's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
