# ClearTheBubbles vs Bubble Link

The clearest difference is rating: Bubble Link at 4.9 against ClearTheBubbles's 4.0. Bubble Link also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 55 months) and ratings volume (5.6K vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClearTheBubbles sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bubble Link sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bubble Link holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubble Link has 5.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of ClearTheBubbles's written reviews are positive against 66% of Bubble Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ClearTheBubbles ships an update every 55 months, Bubble Link fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
