# StitchBuddy HD vs DRAWings Snap

The clearest difference is price: StitchBuddy HD at Free against DRAWings Snap's $29.99. StitchBuddy HD also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (296 vs 47). DRAWings Snap's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 63%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

StitchBuddy HD is free to download; DRAWings Snap costs $29.99 up front. StitchBuddy HD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DRAWings Snap sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StitchBuddy HD holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StitchBuddy HD has 296 ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of StitchBuddy HD's written reviews are positive against 75% of DRAWings Snap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

StitchBuddy HD ships an update every 3 months, DRAWings Snap every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
