# StitchBuddy HD vs ORTganizer

The clearest difference is rating: ORTganizer at 5.0 against StitchBuddy HD's 4.1. ORTganizer also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). StitchBuddy HD's advantage is ratings volume (296 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StitchBuddy HD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ORTganizer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ORTganizer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StitchBuddy HD has 296 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

StitchBuddy HD ships an update every 3 months, ORTganizer every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
