# StitchBuddy HD vs SoloScribe

The clearest difference is rating: SoloScribe at 5.0 against StitchBuddy HD's 4.1. SoloScribe also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). StitchBuddy HD's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (296 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StitchBuddy HD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SoloScribe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
