# ProPanel vs Somfy myLink

The clearest difference is rating: Somfy myLink at 4.3 against ProPanel's 2.6. Somfy myLink also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 26 months) and ratings volume (9.1K vs 5). ProPanel's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Somfy myLink holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Somfy myLink has 9.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of ProPanel's written reviews are positive against 17% of Somfy myLink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ProPanel ships an update every 26 months, Somfy myLink every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
