# Typing Fingers LT vs Type Flash

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Type Flash at 74% against Typing Fingers LT's 22%. Type Flash also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 99). Typing Fingers LT's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 12 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Typing Fingers LT sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Type Flash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Type Flash holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Type Flash has 1.2K ratings behind it against 99, so its average is the more settled of the two. Typing Fingers LT ships an update every 5 weeks, Type Flash every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
