# iTranslate Voice vs TransKey

The clearest difference is rating: iTranslate Voice at 4.7 against TransKey's 4.4. iTranslate Voice also leads on chart position (#112 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTranslate Voice sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and TransKey sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iTranslate Voice holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12K and 13K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of iTranslate Voice's written reviews are positive against 77% of TransKey's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
